UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — Grammy-winning singer John Legend, radio legend Tom Joyner, TJMS co-host Sybil Wilkes and TV personality Free helped crank up a raucous party inside Home Depot’s tent for the “Girls’ Night Out: Do-it-Herself” event on the parking lot of Home Depot just outside the District of Columbia.
Legend got up and serenaded the all-female crowd with renditions of his greatest hits before Free got the crowd crunk and on their feet by orchestrating the line dance that is popular in urban America with the tunes of DJ Flava. 
The purpose of the “Girls Night Out” tour around the nation is to get women and their girlfriends out for fun-filled afternoons of learning home improvement, weekend projects such as painting and easy-to-apply tile and a lot more.
