The family double standard
While the younger kids play on the beach, Tip sits down for a talk with Tiny and Niq Niq about King’s love letter. Tiny is concerned about the young girl’s feelings about their son – and his balls – but Tip says he’s not worried about any of his boys, whom he says are just being the magnetic Harris men they were meant to be. However, Tip is (overly) concerned about Niq Niq and gives her the third degree about any potential suitors she may have. Niq Niq explains that there are things about being a young girl that Tip doesn’t understand. Tip counters that he knows how guys are and just wants her to be knowledgable about “sharks.” She deserves a guy who is willing to look her father in the eye and ask for his approval in dating her. In any case, Tip explains that he’s open to talk with Niq Niq about anything, regardless of whether he approves or not.
