Monday night’s performances by Team Blake’s, Danielle Bradbery and Team Adam’s Judith Hill remained safe. America then saved Team Usher’s, Michelle Chamuel and Team Shakira’s Sasha Allen.
Due to the tragedy in Oklahoma, Coach Blake Shelton, an Oklahoma native and wife Miranda Lambert delivered a heartfelt version of her song, “Over You” dedicated to the victims of the devastating tornado.Coach Blake Shelton took the stage again, this time with his team to perform “Mountain Music”while Coach Usher and his team performed “The Look of Love.”
It was once again time to announce who would stay and who would go. Team Adam’s Sarah Simmons was safe, followed by Team Blake’s Holly Tucker. Team Blake’s Amber Carrington and The Swon Brothers, Team Shakira’s Kris Thomas and Team Usher’s Josiah Hawley all nervously awaited the results of America’s votes.
In the end, it was Amber Carrington and The Swon Brothers who were safe while Usher’s Josiah Hawley and Shakira’s Kris Allen were unfortunately sent home.
Next Monday, the Top 8 will once again take the stage and perform. It will be up to America to vote and decide who are the favorites .
