Sausage is the riskiest meat to consume according to the CSPI. It had 54 outbreaks with 823 illnesses in the US since 1990.
Those beloved pork ribs had 94 outbreaks with 2,484 illnesses over a 12-year study conducted by the CSPI.
Everyone’s favorite go to food, chicken had 452 outbreaks with 6,896 illnesses in the U.S. over the past 12 years.
