Twitter split on decision to bomb Syria

A storm erupted from the philosophical collisions on social media after President Obama received backing from Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee authorizing controlled military strikes against Syria in a 10-7 vote.

McCain meticulously included language in the bill that would limit the time frame of the war, the scope of the conflict and prohibits any ground troops from setting foot on Syrian soil.

The Assad regime unleashed chemical weapons on his own people, according to the Obama administration, in a suburb near Damascus, killing in access of a 1,000 people including hundreds of children.

Despite the reported egregious crimes against humanity, the United States is split on whether it should again go to war to unroot yet another regime and install another one that’s more aligned with the U.S.
