Comedian Kevin Hart will be the star of yet another comedy film, The Wedding Ringer.
Hart is teaming up with his favorite movie producer Will Packer again as the Screen Gems and Miramax film is in production in Los Angeles.
In the movie, Hart will play Jimmy who provides ‘best man services’ for socially challenged guys, who – for whatever reason – have no one close enough to agree to stand by them on the day of their wedding. Doug, played by Josh Gad, a groom-to-be, has found himself in just such a situation, but, to make matters worse, he fabricates the names of not only a best man but nine groomsmen as well. When all else fails, Doug seeks out Jimmy’s services to carry out a charade designed to make Doug look his best, but threatens to destroy everything if it fails.
The Wedding Ringer is set to release in theaters in 2014 and stars Kevin Hart, Josh Gad, and Kaley Cuoco. The film is directed by Jeremy Garelick and produced by Think Like A Man producer, Will Packer.
Hart and Packer just wrapped production for Think Like A Man 2 in June. The film is set for release in 2014.
