The hip-hop community has seen a considerable amount of good deeds done by rappers this past week thanks to Game’s charitable efforts for a slain California girl. Now, it appears that Game’s big heart has moved Drake as well as both rappers have now teamed up to pay for the funerals of 6 people who died in a tragic house fire in Ohio.
According to TMZ, Anna Angel of Tiffin, Ohio was working her shift at Burger King on Sunday morning when her five kids and her boyfriend were all caught in a house fire at her home. Sadly, none of them survived the blaze.
Game just so happened to be on the phone with Drake when he read of Angel’s horrible family loss, and he and they both decided to donate $10,000 each to help pay for the funeral costs of all six people. Game also revealed that producer from 51 Minds, who produce “Marrying The Game,” donated $2,500 to Angel as well.
Game posted a photo of the family to his Instagram page with the message, “I can deal with a lot of things, but a person losing their children is something that kills me every time.”
Drake also posted a photo of the family to his fans as well, saying, “What [Game] is doing will never be forgotten. Honored to be able to help people along side my brother.”
We applaud Game for doing such a noble and honorable thing and we send our condolences to Angel for her heavy loss.
