Someone in Georgia finally matched all five numbers, including the Megaball in Tuesday night’s drawing of the multi-state lottery game.

One of the winning two tickets was sold at the Gateway Newsstand in the Alliance Center building at 3500 Lenox Rd. near Phipps Plaza and Lenox Mall.

The winning Mega Millions numbers were 8, 14, 17, 20 and 39, and the gold Megaball was 7

Two other Georgia players matched the first five numbers drawn on Tuesday but not the Mega Ball of 7 — and won $1 million each, according to Georgia Lottery officials.

The Mega Millions officials originally raised the amount to $550 million after no one won the $425 jackpot last week. However, by Tuesday  with ticket sales going up, the grand prize rose as expected to a whopping $636 million. The jackpot was the second largest pot in the 17-year game history and the fourth-biggest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.
