Woman tweets about working 30 hours straight and dies the next day

A woman in her 20s died after being overworked. According to the Asian publication Mumbrella, Mita Diran died due to heart failure and working long hours.

Diran worked as a copywriter for the advertising agency Y&R in Jakarta, Indonesia, for over one year. She would often tweet about working long hours and drinking energy drinks to stay awake. Her father said that she went into a coma after working three days straight.


Her last tweet before dying read: “30 hours of working and still going strong.”
