Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy has broken his silence regarding his arrest this week. The star was busted in Los Angeles for gun possession after a vehicle he was a passenger in was pulled over in the San Fernando Valley. The authorities discovered a loaded weapon on the hip-hop star and he was immediately taken into custody.
Soulja Boy thanked his fans for the support during the past few days, sharing his gratitude with a Twitter post.
“Thanks for everyone who sent love and checked on me I appreciate we all good I’m gonna drop some music tonight! Sh*t crazy!!!,” he tweeted.
He also dismissed the arrest as an attempt to bring him down.
“They want to see you fall” he tweeted.
This isn’t Soulja Boy’s first trouble with weapons possession. In 2011, he was arrested in Atlanta for weapons and drug possession. He also was hit with a paternity case last month, after a woman claims he fathered her child back in 2007.
