Janice Robinson is the director of United Way Volunteer Involvement Program, a program of United Way of Greater Atlanta who primary goal is to train community leaders to be effective nonprofit board members. Robinson has served the community for over 20 years with more than 1,800 graduates of this 10-week comprehensive service curriculum. She is committed to connecting volunteers to nonprofit organizations in need of board members.
Robinson works with all levels of management in business, nonprofit and government organizations.
“Character: When people know you and believe in you, they are convinces that they can trust you. Focus: It keeps you on track when you are trying to reach your goals. Network: Develop a wide circle of contacts. Every major change in life typically happens by someone either opening or closing doors for you.” says Robinson about what it takes to be successful.
