Mendeecees Harris released
Yandy Smith’s dream has finally come true now that her beau, Mendeecees Harris, has been released. The “Love & Hip Hop” star accused of trafficking $2.5 million worth of heroin and cocaine with two accomplices, was freed Monday, March 31, and quickly took to Instagram to alert fans.
“3 hours left b4 I hit my home,” he captioned a photo of himself riding in a van with Yandy perched on on his lap (below).
Smith also shared the good news in a statement posted on her EverythingGirlsLove website.
“We have been anticipating him getting bail for a while,” said the reality star. “As you know from the show, every time I got excited, circumstances came up and threw a wrench in the plan. So this time, I did not get excited until I heard the judge say all the terms were accepted and bail was granted.”
She also added that Harris’ friends are eagerly anticipating his arrival.
“I’m sure it’s going to be like Christmas at our house,” she added.
Harris was released on $600,000 bail; $200,000 of which Smith proudly admitted came from her. “Love & Hip Hop” cameras were rolling outside of the Rochester, N.Y., building as Harris was freed.
