President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle hosted guests and events at the White House this past week. Thousands of children and a few celebrities enjoyed the annual Easter Egg Roll on the White House lawn this past weekend. The first couple had a very busy week. The day after Michelle Obama visited families at the Maryland Fisher House IV at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., President Obama and his senior advisers reflected on the one year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings with a moment of silence. The very next day, Obama and Joe Biden stopped to chat before boarding Air Force One after a jobs-driven skills training speech at the Community College of Allegheny County, West Hills Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.
One of the riders from the Wounded Warrior Project’s Soldier Ride, showed off his Barack Obama bobble head as he waited to meet the President, which would have made the Obama’s week if it wasn’t for the Naval Academy jumbo paperweight ring he received the next day during the Commander in Chief’s Trophy presentation ceremony for the U.S. Naval Academy football team.
