Da Brat’s assault victim claims she hasn’t received $6 million

Earlier this year, Da Brat got the shock of her life when a judge ruled that she owed former Atlanta Falcons cheerleader Shayla Stevens $6.4 million for a 2007 assault in which she hit Stevens in the head with a bottle. Now, a report claims that Stevens has yet to receive her money and that she has filed court documents to force Brat to pay her.

TheJasmineBrand.com recently published a writ of fieri facias that Stevens filed in Georgia on May 20 to register the judge’s ruling to Cobb County, Georgia.

The document shows that the writ pertains to all of Brat’s goods, land and property and notes that all of Brat’s assets have a lien on them to pay back the $6.4 million she owes Stevens.

This is just the first step in Stevens retrieving her money from Brat, but it may not be as easy as it seems. Back in March, Brat claimed that she’s already in debt and that Stevens would have to wait before she sees any money.

“I’m just going to do what I do and work and whatever money that I get, I guess she’s entitled to some of it. But I owe a lot of people. She’s got to stand in line,” Brat said.

Well, considering that Brat spent a significant amount of time in jail and out of the limelight, and has a large amount of debt, we’re not sure that Stevens will see her money anytime soon. –nicholas robinson
