A school awards show at Bellingham High School in Washington state has teacher Teri Grimes in big trouble for her Drama Club ceremony recently. The skits during the award show were filled with students using the F-word and even a joke about a priest having sex with children. Some parents walked out in shock after a student who was named “The Horniest Stud” was awarded a sex toy on stage.

Grimes has been a teacher for more than 30 years and is scheduled to retire at the end of this year. There has never been this type of outcry over her actions in the past, so this shocked the entire school. Grimes did issue a written apology in which she stated;

“I deeply apologize for some very inappropriate comments and actions made during our drama students’ end-of-the-year awards ceremony. This is not representative of our students who take such great pride in their school and respect one another. Much of the evening was a great celebration of their work. However, as a teacher and the club’s leader, I take full responsibility and am extremely sorry.”

At this time, it seems that the written apology and a subsequent meeting with Grimes and the students involved have calmed down the whole fiasco. No one is facing any further discipline. However, the school did state they will keep the investigation open
