The Harlem Fine Arts Show in partnership with The National Black Arts Festival had it’s Opening Gala night at 200 Peachtree Street and it was a smashing success with an unforgettable evening of art, food and cocktails thanks to Dion Clarke, founder and CEO, and co-chairs Charmaine Ward (Georgia Pacific Director Community Affairs) & Erwin Carter (Acting Managing Director of NBAF). Several Atlanta based artists were featured including Cassandra Harrison, Janine Monroeand Kathi Earle-Ross, just to name a few. Held annually in New York City since 2010 — and most recently in February of this year — the Harlem Fine Arts Show has attracted about 50,000 visitors and accounted for millions of dollars in total art sales since its inception.
BMW is the lead sponsor for the Harlem Fine Arts show during 2014 — which in addition to New York and Atlanta will also include stops in Martha’s Vineyard (8/6−13) and Chicago (10/30−11/2). Other sponsors include the AARP, Radio One, the High Museum of Art, and Bombay Sapphire.
