Hailing from Chicago’s west side, as a youth, Beeware did not take the expected approach common for young men growing up in one of Chicago’s roughest areas. Drawing inspiration from social issues affecting the African American community, Beeware developed a poetic niche that, accompanied with music, allowed him to evolve into a powerful rap artist with a unique message and delivery.
His latest offering, I Pledge Allegiance To Chicago, is packed full of positive themes and encouragement that is a breath of fresh air in comparison to the popular, but often violent, drill music genre emerging from the city.
Standout tracks include “Worst Of Times,” “Eyes Wide Open,” and “City Of Hate.”
