Paul J. Hunter, age 67, was a man on a mission last week. He was dressed formally in a tuxedo when he decided to arrange for sex with a prostitute in Seattle, Washington. As he was engaging in his illicit sexual activity, a couple was walking down the street. The young couple was arguing and apparently, their argument disturbed Hunter and the prostitute from completing their deeds. The couple then walked directly past Walker and the prostitute continuing a loud argument, the prostitute stopped performing oral sex and ran away with Hunter’s money.
That is when Hunter pulled up his tuxedo pants and drew a pistol allegedly shouting, “You’re dead mother (expletive)” and began shooting. Fortunately, Hunter missed his shot and the couple ran away and hid behind a car. According to police, Hunter then left the scene of the shooting and was found walking nearby. He was identified by the couple as the person who shot at them.
Hunter has no criminal history and was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of assault. He has since been charged with second-degree assault and remains imprisoned on $100,000 bond.
