Diamond plays nice
In an effort to play nice, Diamond meets with Nyemiah to reiterate the reasons why she can’t participate in the showcase along with the girls. Nyemiah seems to truly understand where Diamond is coming from with her band and sound being in transition. Diamond does promise a surprise to Nyemiah which turns out to be her bringing superstar rapper and actress Eve to lunch to meet the girls and give them career advice. Eve tells the ladies that she’ll definitely be at the showcase to check them all out.
