Tell us about your services.
I conduct one-on-one training with clients who need help with the following: weight loss, sports nutrition, strength and conditioning, corrective exercise, performance enhancement, and pre- and post-natal exercise. I am certified through NASM in all of these specialties. I also conduct group training, boot camps, and sports contest preparation.

What inspired this career path?
I’ve always been an athlete, which is what got me into working out. But my passion for health and wellness was inspired by me wanting to help my family in regard to their health issues. I also have a bachelor’s degree in health science from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

What do you find to be the most challenging aspect of this competitive field?
Keeping clients’ commitment and motivation levels high. Many people don’t realize that health and fitness is a never-ending journey, and the choices we make day to day affect our overall wellness for the rest of our lives. My ultimate goal for each of my clients is to help make their healthy choices and habits a priority in their lifestyle.

What has been your most proud moment?
The day I became a father and also when I received the “We Care” Award from President George W. Bush for excellent military and customer service.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself as a family man, business owner, and icon in the fitness industry.

What advice would you give someone who aspires to be in your field?
To soak up as much knowledge on health, fitness, and human anatomy as possible. This is a field with ever-changing trends and endless research, so it’s important to stay up-to-date to provide the most relevant and recent information to clients.

What does success look like for you?
Being able to support my family and also create opportunities for others.
