JaKathryn Ross

JaKathryn Ross is the founding executive director of Youth Entrepreneurs® Georgia, also known as YEGeorgia, a high school program that gives students the tools necessary to become or think like entrepreneurs. She is also the director of community affairs for Georgia-Pacific. As a recognized leader in entrepreneurship education, Ross also shares her knowledge as an adjunct professor at Morehouse College. On being a powerful woman, Ross says, “A powerful woman must be intentional about not letting what others say or think about her — good and bad — distort how she sees or thinks about herself. I say, make sure your words and deeds allow you to be at peace with yourself and the woman you are, with or without the title or ‘power.’ ” Ross holds a bachelor’s from Florida A&M University, with a major in accounting. She earned an MBA from Mercer University.
