Wu on why she was nervous about returning to reality TV
“What made me nervous is that I liked having my privacy back. I liked not being on TMZ and all that other stuff with the negative stuff,” said Wu, who endured a public divorce from former NFL star Ed Hartwell in the press. “People always take the negative stuff, they never post anything positive. So of course I was apprehensive about returning. I’m in a vulnerable space. I’m not married anymore, I’m single. So I’m talking about that, I’m talking about experiences and so for me I’m a leader. I must be a control freak because I don’t like being vulnerable. So me being vulnerable I’m a weeping willow, like this is crazy, but I mean we’re all human. We all go through things and the fact that we get through them, that’s what’s important,” she explained.
