Things between Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida have been rocky to say the least, especially since Nida recently claimed that Parks hasn’t allowed him to see his sons, Ayden and Dylan, since he began his eight-year prison sentence. But now it appears that Parks may have had a change of heart about keeping Nida and their sons in contact with each other.
Just last week, Nida gave his first prison interview and complained about Parks keeping him away from his sons.
“I can’t see why she would continue to hurt me by not allowing me to see my boys,” Nida shared. “This isn’t right. If I don’t see my children for eight years, that would be some bulls—, and I would fight for that right! Who in their right mind would allow children to be away from their father for eight years, regardless of where the father is at in the world?”
However, during a recent run-in with TMZ reporters, Parks was asked whether she would bring their sons to prison to see their father and Parks replied, “You know what, I would love to.”
Parks further explained, “I’ve sent him a Christmas card and everything. I speak to him all the time.”
Prison may not be the ideal environment for kids to be visiting, but what’s also not ideal is a life for kids in which they don’t see a father who wants to be in their lives. We hope that both Parks and Nida work to keep him in his sons’ lives from here on out.
