Stevie J caught up in new drug rehab scandal

Vh1

Stevie J is no stranger to drug accusations. This year alone, the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star was accused of doing hard drugs alongside his so-called wife, Joseline Hernandez, and he even previously tested positive for cocaine. But now it appears that Stevie’s drug use is finally catching up to him, because he’s just been ordered to go to rehab.

According to Page Six, Stevie J was subject to several drug tests after he was arrested in June for failing to pay his $1.1 million outstanding child support balance. The feds say that Stevie was tested 10 times in between June and this month and he failed each time, testing positive for marijuana and cocaine.

Stevie has now been ordered to enter a 30-day inpatient rehab center to address his admitted drug abuse problems.

Stevie’s lawyer, Michael Bellinger, tried to fight the decision, saying “If he’s in inpatient he can’t support his family.”

But Judge Andrew Peck denied Bellinger’s request and told Stevie he was lucky that he didn’t revoke his bail and put him in jail.

“I would be sorely tempted to revoke bail at this stage,” Peck said.

Well, Stevie might have lost his drug battle in court, but he may be on the verge of scoring a win for himself in regard to his child support case. Find out about Stevie’s new plea deal after the cut.
