It’s been nearly seven weeks since Nick Gordon first entered rehab after an explosive interview-intervention with Dr. Phil, and asked for treatment for his dangerous drug and alcohol abuse. Now, news reports have revealed that Gordon has finally checked out of rehab and he recently left a few messages for fans.
Last week, Gordon returned to Twitter and posted a simple tweet announcing to fans that he’d left rehab.
Gordon’s lawyer also confirmed with People magazine that his client is indeed out of rehab. “I can confirm that Nick is no longer in rehab,” said lawyer Randy Kessler.
Sources say that Gordon is now staying with his mother, Michelle Gordon.
As previously reported, after nearly drowning three months ago and being placed in a medically induced coma, Gordon’s girlfriend, Bobbi Kristina, finally woke up earlier this month and is breathing on her own. However, Bobbi is still unresponsive and her grandmother, Cissy Houston, revealed that Bobbi suffered permanent brain damaged after being submerged underwater for so long.
This week, Gordon posted another tweet alluding to his reaction to Bobbi Kristina’s grave fate after coming out of her coma.
We’re glad that Gordon finished his rehab treatment, but considering how distraught he’s been over Bobbi’s condition, we hope he doesn’t suffer a relapse or a mental breakdown if Bobbi continues to remain unresponsive.
