A DeKalb County, Georgia, judge ruled on May 8 in favor of Pat Houston and Bobby Brown being appointed co-guardians of Bobbi Kristina Brown, The two will jointly share responsibility for making decisions about Bobbi Kris’ medical care.
Let’s hope the mutual love for Bobbi Kristina will make things easier for the Houston and Brown families to work together in making decisions and caring for Bobbi Kristina, who is breathing on her own.
The attorneys for Houston and Brown released the following statement to USA Today: “We are delighted to inform the public that the court has appointed Bobby Brown and Pat Houston as co-guardians of Bobbi Kristina Brown (‘Krissi’). Both Mr. Brown and Ms. Houston are jointly responsible for decisions related to Krissi’s care and medical needs,” reads a statement issued by David Long-Daniels, counsel for Pat Houston and Cissy Houston, and Christopher Brown, counsel for Bobby Brown.
Perhaps with Nick Gordon successfully completing his rehab as ordered by Dr. Phil and back at home with his mom, Michelle Gordon, Nick will have some time to process how he can go about mending his relationship with both the Houston and Brown family.
In the meantime, Bobbi Kristina remains under 24-hour care since being found unresponsive on Jan. 31, 2015, in the bathtub of the condo she shared with Nick Gordon. Bobby Brown and his family are still encouraging everyone to pray for Bobbi Kristina and keep hoping for a miracle to take place.
