During the extravagant Bronner Bros. Mid-Summer International Beauty Show from Aug. 15-17, Design Essentials celebrated 25 years in business. The McBride family-owned professional hair care product company drew some of Atlanta’s biggest names in beauty and entertainment to commemorate the occasion.

The individuals who have made Design Essentials one of the most sought-after brands around showed up to celebrate, including director of operations Andre McBride; director of interactive media Shalonda McBride Armstrong; founder and CEO Cornell McBride Sr.; and president Cornell McBride Jr.

After soul superstar Ledisi showed up at the For the Love of Locs event, she took pictures with fans and signed copies of her Design Essentials Look Book. Ledisi also spoke to her fans during her Intimate Truth Empowerment Session. She took some time out to congratulate the McBride family and the entire Design Essentials team on 25 years of excellence.

Several high-profile stylists were also seen at the gathering, including Dwight Eubanks of Atlanta’s Purple Door Salon and “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and Oprah Winfrey’s longtime stylist Andre Walker. Many reality stars also came to honor Design Essentials, such as Maja Sly and Mushiya Tshikuka from WE tv’s “Cutting It In the ATL,” and “Married to Medicine’s” Toya Bush-Harris and Lisa Nicole Cloud.
