Usually when Kim Zolciak-Biermann ends up in the news it’s over some hilarious shade or shenanigans in her reality TV life. But it was no laughing matter this week when the Bravo star suffered a mini-stroke after appearing on “Dancing With the Stars.”
Zolciak-Biermann revealed the stroke on her Instagram Thursday morning and, according to People, Zolciak-Biermann suffered a transient ischemic attack, or mini stroke, just minutes after she landed back home after her flight from L.A.
The last 24hrs have been whirlwind! I landed yesterday morning from LAX (took the red eye right after DWTS) I got home and within minutes suffered a TIA (mini stroke) the left side of my body went completely numb and my speech was gone. Extremely grateful for @sladeosborne @briellebiermann @nikitpressley @kroybiermann for quick reactions! I have 100%of my feeling back THANK GOD. Still in the hospital but I just know I’m getting released today!. #CrazyAgeDoesntMatter,” Zolciak captioned a photo of herself lying in a hospital.
It’s unclear why Zolciak-Biermann suffered the stroke, but she did reveal on Monday on “DWTS” that she’d received botox that day.
Fortunately, Zolciak-Biermann is doing well now and she posted a photo update on her Instagram page to reassure her fans.
