Really CNN? During a live segment on the hospitalized coverage of Lamar Odom’s condition CNN had a picture of the San Antonio Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge in the background instead of Odom’s. Perhaps with all the updates on Odom’s condition somebody got confused. But, how when his condition was being updated every 30 minutes?
What made it really interesting was the fact it didn’t appear that anyone on the show noticed the wrong photo was in the background featuring Aldridge while the CNN analysts discussed Odom’s living will. Surprisingly, this time reporters from around the world sounded off on social media. Typically it’s #blacktwitter that notices everything and blasts social offenders. But, this time it was national reporters who began posting their disdain for what was taking place.
“Ummm… @CNN, that’s LaMarcus Aldridge, not Lamar Odom ,” added Nick Price, a news editor at KUJH-TV. Well, at least it was only one of the five photos that was wrong. What are your thoughts?
