Tiesha Mychelle Parsons returned to her car parked in the parking lot of a beauty supply store in Georgia on Saturday to find her infant baby in the arms of an officer who entered the car through an unlocked back door. The mother was spotted with her other two children thirty minutes after the 911 call was made when someone discovered the baby was strapped in the carseat, kicking and screaming.

What did the mom have to say for herself? She thought one of her daughters had gotten the baby out of the car when they went in the store.

Parsons was arrested. Her three children that were with her and four kids back at her Douglasville home were released to a family relative and DFACS was notified.

I’m hoping if more women are publicly blasted when they display this type of wreckless behavior it may cause them to think twice about leaving their small infant in the car. I know it may seem harmless to run in the store quickly, especially if the baby is asleep; however, in this case, it would take less than two minutes for someone to open that car door and snatch that baby and then this women could never see her child again.

Parsons was released on Monday, Oct. 19, after posting bail for $1K.
