An argument at T.I.’s new Atlanta southern cuisine restaurant, Scales 925, escalated and resulted in one man being shot. The victim was former Washington Wizards player Glen Rice Jr., son of pro basketball legend Glen Rice, TMZ reports.

A group of men were arguing on the upper deck patio of the eatery on Oct. 25, and according to local police, five or six men were then kicked out of the establishment. The disagreement continued in the parking lot, and Rice was then shot in the leg.

TMZ says there is footage of the athlete tossing a revolver on a stairwell. He then fled the scene in a black Porsche driven by his friend and arrived at Emory Hospital, where he collapsed on the sidewalk, according to the police report.

Police caught up with Rice after responding to a 911 call, and he said he did not know who shot him. Authorities transported him to Grady Hospital. Upon searching Rice’s vehicle, authorities said they found a backpack containing 240.4 grams of marijuana and $5,953 in cash.

Rice was charged with reckless conduct and possession of marijuana.

The man who allegedly shot Rice left the scene in a black sedan and has not yet been apprehended.

T.I. was reportedly not at the club during the incident.

Rice was involved in a club shooting in Atlanta in 2012. The incident, in which he says he “accidentally” fired his 9mm, resulted in him being terminated from the Georgia Tech basketball team.

“Everybody makes mistakes,” he told NBA.com in 2013. “I made mine. The most important thing was to own it, accept it and try to learn from it, which I have. I’m ready to move forward. Whoever said, ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ knew what they were talking about. I feel like that’s what’s happened to me.”
