These days, it’s just as normal to see beefs among R&B artists as it is to see rappers beefing. And this week two singers that were beefing were TGT groupmates Tyrese and Tank.
The drama all started two days ago when Tyrese made a post on Instagram with a challenge to other R&B artists.
“Here’s my challenge to every R&B artist in the game. Do a pure R&B album with no hip-hop features. A pure R&B album. Can you do it?” Tyrese said in his challenge.
Well, Tank didn’t take the post as a challenge. Instead, he took it as an insult and commented on a Famelous.com post about Tyrese.
“no the challenge is shade! None of us have heard of Anthony Hamilton, Jill Scott, Alicia Keys, etc!! It’s not a challenge he’s just indirectly flaunting his success!..lol. Which is fine but don’t act like you the only one doing R&B Music!.. lol.” Tank wrote.
In most cases, a comment like that would’ve resulted in some insulting back-and-forth jabs between the artists. Instead, Tank chose to take the high road and apologize. See his apology, after the cut.
