Ebony magazine brought together some of the most influential Black entertainers for their annual Power 100 Gala on Wednesday, Dec. 2. Presented by Nationwide at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, the gala celebrated achievements in the Black American community within the past 70 years.
The soiree was 70s themed with a performance by George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic to set the mood. Jidenna, Bobby Hill, Judith Hill also hit the stage.
Host Arsenio Hall provided attendees with plenty of laughs, while recording artists, CEOs, politicians, reverends, and more were honored. The night saw some very emotional speeches and touching moments of appreciation from honorees for being recognized for their contributions to their community.
Some of the stars spotted at the event included Jessie Williams, Zendaya, Tracee Ellis Ross, Anthony Anderson, Loretta Devine, Holly Robinson Peete, Tina Knowles Lawson and Richard Lawson, Ledisi, and Salim and Mara Brock Akil.
