Terrell Owens had everyone turning their heads in shock back in January 2014 when he abruptly got married to a woman named Rachel Snider. What made the story even more shocking was that Owens separated from her just three days later and then filed for divorce on Valentine’s Day. Since then, we haven’t heard much about the failed marriage. But now reports have revealed that Owens’ divorce was finalized recently.
According to TMZ, a judged signed the divorce papers on Dec. 17, finally putting an end to a long drawn out divorce between Owens and Snider.
Court documents revealed that neither of them will receive spousal support from each other, which works out well for Owens considering his well documented financial problems. The documents also revealed that Owens and Snider decided to privately split up any assets that may have been eligible to be divvied up in a three-day marriage. We assume it wasn’t much.
As for Owens himself, he told TMZ, “Not to be mean or negative but I’m honestly glad it’s over with. I’m no longer associated with that person. I learned my lesson and my life is in a much happier place.”
We really do hope that he’s happier now and we also hope that he doesn’t rush into anymore quickie marriages.
