Mike Epps had an interesting beginning to April. His film Meet the Blacks hit theaters nationwide on April 1st and he served as the headliner at the Festival of Laughs tour on the following day.

Held at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Epps took the opportunity to make light of several topics that have dominated news headlines in recent months. He took aim at Bill Cosby’s sex scandal; he jabbed at Katt Williams who was recently filmed wrestling with a teenager; and he made fun of several prominent politicians. Epps also delved into love and relationships and revealed some of his embarrassing sexual encounters in the past.

The show was hosted by Sommore and featured stand-up performances by comedians Henry Welch, Tommy Davidson, Gary Owen, and Bruce Bruce.

The Festival of Laughs will next make stops in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Houston, Texas, and Columbus, Ohio in the upcoming weeks.
