She’s breaking barriers. Unlike the roller coaster relationships displayed on popular reality shows like “Love and Hip Hop”, “Basketball Wives,” or “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Rae tells VF, “It’s so important to show that black women do have friends.” She added, “We’re not all just fighting and punching each other and cursing each other out and ending up on the Shade Room together.”
