3 things we learned about the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback

The hatchback continues to attract more American consumers due to its size, affordability and cool factor. Chevrolet has entered the hatchback race by introducing the 2017 Cruze Hatchback. During a recent trip to Detroit, we had an opportunity to preview the new 2017 Cruze while experiencing the culture of the city. We drove the Cruze Hatchback to Lansing, Michigan; made our back to the city of Detroit to visit the Children’s Hospital of Michigan; and we completed our route by visiting an art district in the heart of the city.

Here are three things we learned about the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback.


Space

The Cruze Hatchback features a spacious interior which makes it a comfortable ride for adults. Three child-sized teddy bears were able to fit in the backseat as we transported them to the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. It features 22.7 cubic feet of room behind the seat and 47.2 cubic feet when seats are folded.

Power

The Cruze Hatchback packs a powerful punch for its size. We were able to test the power on rural roads on the outskirt of Detroit. It comes with a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that achieves 153 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 in close to 7 seconds.

Technology

The Cruze Hatchback comes with several dynamic technology features that are cutting edge. Prominent features include the 7.0-inch MyLink touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, 4G LTE data connection with WiFi, and a Bose audio system.

Overall, the Cruze Hatchback serves as the perfect vehicle for millennials, recent college graduates and young urban professionals who are looking for a new and sleek .
