Life for Nick Gordon has been anything but a cake walk since his famous girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away under mysterious circumstances last year. Since then, her estate sued Gordon for her death and recently won their case, resulting in Gordon owing Brown’s estate several million dollars. Since the ruling, sources have been claiming that Gordon doesn’t have anywhere near that kind of money to pay them back but now reports are claiming that Gordon is struggling just to get a job.
As previously reported, Brown’s estate sued Gordon for $50M after Brown passed away six months after being found face down and unconscious in her own bathtub. In the suit, her estate claimed Gordon was abusive, stole money from Bobbi, and that he caused the brain damage that resulted in her death.
Thanks to Gordon’s penchant for not showing up to court to defend himself, a judge ruled in favor of Brown’s estate and awarded them $36M that Gordon has to pay.
However, sources have been saying since the ruling that Gordon is too broke to ever pay Brown’s estate back but now new reports also claim that Gordon is struggling with even finding a job.
Sources say that a man named Logan Harris, who claims to be Nick Gordon’s cousin, says that Gordon “wants to get financially stable but he can’t get a job because it will go to the lawsuit. He is looking at filing for bankruptcy.”
Not only is Gordon allegedly broke, but Harris claims that Gordon is also still battling depression in the wake of Brown’s death and the ruling over the lawsuit.
“Nick’s really depressed right now,” Harris said. “He wants to get a job to be financially stable but anything he makes will all go to the lawsuit.”
Gordon is allegedly living with his mother, Michelle Gordon, in Sanford, Florida and trying to get his life back on track, but Harris says the mounting stress is just crippling his so-called cousin.
“Before he would go out to eat and have a few drinks, now he doesn’t go out at all,” Harris said, claiming Gordon “can’t do or say anything at all, its like he’s in prison with the lawsuit.”
