Another day and there is another report of an individual using racism to attack President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. This time, the racism was spewed by a teacher in Arkansas.

According to KARK, Trent Bennett, a teacher at Malvern High, went on social media to spread his hatred. In the Facebook post, Bennet called called the First Lady, “Michelle Obummer…America’s First Chimp.” When others called him out on his post, Bennett continued by calling the First Lady “nasty chimp.” He also called President Obama, “spider monkey.”

Since the election of Donald Trump, racists who hold high positions have surfaced acrossed the country.  Pamela Ramsey Taylor, a director at Clay County Development Corporation in West Virginia, used Facebook to vilify the first lady.

The nonprofit used government funds to provide services for the elderly and poor. But in order to maintain those government funds, the organization could not practice discrimination in any form. Several issues were discovered after a probe and the nonprofit will be taken overt by the governor.

Following the presidential election, Taylor wrote on Facebook, “It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady in the White House. I’m tired of seeing a Ape [sic] in heels.” She has since been fired.

Bennett should never be allowed to teach students as long as he lives. Someone who holds such sickening views when it comes to race can’t properly educate students of different races and cultural backgrounds. He is currently being investigated by the school board, but has yet to be fired.
