Stevie J takes assault claim against ex, Joseline Hernandez to the next level.
According to the “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star, he along with his lawyer, arranged to meet up with Hernandez on May 10 at a local hot spot in Atlanta, Seasons 52. It all went downhill after the producer attempted to back out of the meeting, TMZ reports.
A police report indicates that Hernandez flew into a rage, grabbed a bowl off the table containing “about 6 to 8 very hot mushrooms ready to be served and threw it at him.” Stevie J’s lawyer then called police.
Meanwhile, several restaurant employees told cops they witnessed the flying mushrooms, adding that Hernandez’s behavior scared other customers. A ceramic bowl was recovered at the scene as evidence, officers said.
In light of recent events, the entertainment site revealed that Stevie J is once again begging the court to order that Hernandez completes an anger management program, as well as undergo a psychological evaluation.
Earlier this week, the exes were scheduled to appear on “The Wendy Williams Show.” However, the night before, the two canceled as they couldn’t stand the sight of each other.
“OK, here’s why they’re not here,” Williams told her audience. “It should be no surprise to you that this relationship is on-again, off-again on a constant basis, correct? Well, currently, they’re off, and we promoted this as the family is coming … They’re not getting along enough to even be in the same building, so they are not here. They canceled last night.”
If you ask us, it appears that the restaurant incident was the straw that broke the camel’s back and they didn’t have enough time to pull it back in before their scheduled television appearance.
In December, the former couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter, Bonnie Bella Jordan. There has been no word on how Stevie J’s latest plea to the court will impact their co-parenting agreement.
