A 4-1/2 year police veteran in Boston was suspended for six months for producing a racist video for his friends on the force, the Boston Herald reported.
Officer Joseph DeAngelo Jr. was slapped with a half-year suspension for his actions in a city that is known as the Mississippi of the North — a place that even saw White people throw rocks at Sen. Ted Kennedy for trying to integrate the city schools. .
Obviously, DeAngelo finds this material hilarious, and it makes one wonder about his ability to see the humanity in anyone who does not look like him.

Some in the community have objected strenuously and vociferously to DeAngelo being welcomed back with a badge and a gun after an incident like this. If he will make a video such as this, then what would he do in a life-and-death situation involving Black and minority subjects on the street?
Subsequent to his suspension, DeAngelo wrote that “apology” letter.
Police Commissioner William B. Evans seems more than satisfied that it’s genuine and heartfelt…
“It was clear from Officer DeAngelo’s interview that he feels significant remorse for his actions and now realizes the impact this video has had on our community,” Evans said. “Officer DeAngelo readily admitted to the conduct and has fully taken responsibility for his actions.”
What do you think? After seeing the video, do you think DeAngelo deserves a second chance on the force overseeing blacks and other minorities?
