One particular reality star believes the show “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” has served its purpose and is no longer of use to her, according to media reports.
Masika Kalysha is quitting “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.” She will not be filming with the rest of the cast as they begin taping for the upcoming season, TheJasmineBrand.com reports.
One of the main reasons for her exit is the fact that she has grown tired for being the alleged sole plot line for her archrival, Alexis Skyy, which inevitably brought more drama into her mix. Both women have had a child with prolific baby producer and rapper Fetty Wap.
Kalysha is said to be ecstatic that she is no longer contractually tied down to the show because, under normal circumstances, you cannot just be released from your contract before it has run its course without incurring penalties unless that person has been fired.
TJB also notes that of the three years of her being on the show, she has been listed as a “main character” only once.
Another reason for her exit is probably tied to the burgeoning success of her hair care line, Khari Barbie Beauty. According to the entrepreneur, the hair care product is allegedly soft enough for babies to use, as her own daughter uses the product.
She captioned the above photo: “When the wig come off… those @kharibarbiebeauty Stimulating Growth oils got the kid feelin herself. Skin glow from @acneexpert 6 years and counting.”
Not all of her followers are convinced that the two photos feature her natural hair — and they were not shy about informing her of this:
“Y’all are delusional not only is this a WIG sis your part not even plucked decent nobody in this world baby hairs start that low and are that thick & this is a beautiful picture sus but now ion trust ya product cus you wearing a damn wig & swearing you not 😒🙄😑”
“You may have real hair down your back but that is clearly a wig @masikakalysha I can see the mark of the lacefront on your forehead.”
“We can see 1/3 video your hair is thin and its a liitle past the shoulders ….. I am a hairstylist and i can see the lace line if you enlarge the photo if 89% on comments peep that why lie you can not lie to ppl who wear lace wigs we can detect them a mile away lol😩 you might block me but i guess you trying to get them coins sis anit mad at ya!”

Observers of the LHHH show know that Masika is notorious for firing back with both barrels. So it remains to be seen if she claps back at her detractors.
