The Black Women’s Expo is a traveling, event-packed weekend that empowers, enlightens and uplifts African American women and their families. The event features informative seminars and panel discussions presented by local and national speakers, educational exhibits and corporate displays, and rousing entertainment.
Attendees at the Atlanta Black Women’s Expo, held August 10-12 at the Georgia International Convention Center, enjoyed a star-studded celebrity weekend. Guests were treated to an awe-inspiring keynote address by Emmy Award-winning actress Regina King,  a live performance by R & B singer Ginuwine, a sneak peek at the new season of OWN’s “Greenleaf” and a question-and-session with cast members Lamman Rucker and Deborah Joy Winans.
Fans also had the opportunity to take part in a meet-and-greet with some of Bravo’s reality show veterans, including Cynthia Bailey (“The Housewives of Atlanta”), Kim Fields (“The Housewives of Atlanta”), Dr. Heavenly Kimes (“Married to Medicine”) and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe (“Married to Medicine”) and Princess Banton-Lofters (producer, “The Housewives of Atlanta”).
The Black Women’s Expo will conclude its three-city tour in Dallas Aug. 25-26. View the gallery below to see photos from its stop in Atlanta.
