Coco Bassey is a 30-year-old fashion blogger and creative who has the ability to develop content that captivates.
She began her blog “Millennielle” in 2013 to show the modern-day young woman how to elevate her everyday life.
Over the past five years, she has developed her craft and built a community of followers that has grown to more than 160,000 across her social media platforms.
In true millennial fashion, she has turned her side hustle as a blogger into a high-grossing business, partnering with several top brands, including the French multinational luxury goods conglomerate LVMH, Los Angeles-based online fashion resource Who What Wear, Estée Lauder and Olay. The successful fashion blogger also skillfully manages to balance her side business with her full-time gig in corporate marketing for a global software company.
A Nigerian native, Bassey grew up traveling the world from Canada and the Czech Republic to Germany and the United States with her parents, who were both diplomats, and picking up style influences from those diverse cultures along the way.
Bassey describes her personal style as elevated basics and prides herself on “finding ways to take a basic outfit and turn it into your own.”
She recently stopped by rolling out studios, where we discussed her love for fashion, how she balances both work life and blog life, and how she is redefining the millennial experience one outfit at a time.
