Lauren London is taking steps to establish and protect her son Kross’ future in the wake of Nipsey Hussle’s death this past spring.
London, 34, has the expectation her son will eventually inherit over a million dollars from the Nipsey Hussle estate. The star of “Games People Play” and the classic film ATL, is now filing documents to establish legal guardianship over her 2-year-old son in a Los Angeles County Court, according to documents obtained by The Blast.
London, who posts occasionally about her late, legendary life partner, has otherwise cordoned herself off from the media and public. When The Blast tried to secure a comment from the suddenly reclusive star, a rep politely said London “has not and will not” comment.
More formality than anything else, because no one has come out publicly and disputed her ability to care for her biological child, London told the court that she will be the one to care for Kross Asghedom and look out for his “best interests.”
Nipsey, aka Ermias Asghedom, was murdered on March 31, 2019, outside The Marathon Clothing Store that he owned. Eric Holder, 29, has been charged with his murder and the attempted murder of Nipsey’s two friends.
According to The Blast, London is crossing all of her “T’s” and dotting her “I’s” so that she can fully immerse herself within all legal matters revolving around Nipsey’s estate and probate.
