Tenille Jackson’s marketing firm delivers results for clients’ bottom lines

How did you determine your career path?

I don’t believe I chose this career path.  God, life experiences, connections, and relationships along the way have guided me into the marketing business. I have always enjoyed organizing and managing small to mid-size businesses. Twenty plus years ago, my brother had a marketing, advertising, and promotions business that needed to be managed. I worked for him and learned the entrepreneurial ropes.

Ten years ago, I had a daughter and a client who felt like our client direction should focus more on outreach to moms. Today, I manage an online community and network of moms as a major part of my marketing portfolio. I did not “plan” this to be my career path; life evolved and I was open to being where I needed to be.

How does music impact and influence you? Name the five top songs on your playlist.

I love all kinds of music. It helps amplify the mood I’m in. It inspires me to keep going on the treadmill, or simply gets me through my days.

“Count Your Blessings” by the Sunday Service Choir, “Gonna Love Me” by Teyona Taylor; “Sauce All On Me” by Coca Vango, “Juice” by Lizzo and “How Deep Is Your Love” by PJ Morton.
