Percy Robert Miller, mostly known as Master P, is a father, actor, rapper, executive producer, and entrepreneur. Master P was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. He is widely known for hits like “Make ‘Em Say Ugh” and “No Limit Soldiers” and movies such as, The Players Club and Hot Boyz.
Master P joins Marvin Sapp on the new show “They Call Me Dad” and sat with rolling out to talk about it.
What is fatherhood to you?
Ain’t no hood like fatherhood. First of all, it’s one of my most important jobs, being a dad for my kids. No matter what a family consists of, whether you got girls or boys or whatever, it’s gonna be adversity. It’s about getting to that as a family and there is no perfect family. Love is gonna help you get through anything. I’ll do anything for my kids. That’s what fatherhood is all about, making a lifetime commitment to your kids.
Why did you want to inspire young men to know that there was no limit inside of them?
I wanted people to know if I could make it out of the environment I come from and I was able to change my life, it’s no limit to what they could do. If you have people see me on the right track and doing the right thing, they’ll realize that if he could make it they could. When you talk about no limit, it’s no limit to your dreams and your goals. I always thought like that even as a kid that there was going to be no limit to my success. Hopefully, other people see that and be inspired.
