Master P shares pearls of wisdom as a full-time father

What does it feel like to be a part of Oprah‘s network?

She’s a very successful woman that made a lot of sacrifices. Being a part of this, having her spotlight African American men in a good light is great. TV normally don’t do that. They want to show the drama and the negativity. To actually see African American fathers being responsible and taking care of kids, building the generational wealth, educating my kids, is perfect for this.

What did you make sure that you poured into your kids?

Everything, spending time. I think time is the most important thing that you can do. A lot of parents that grew up in our time was busy. Having our own companies and creating brands to work with our kids helps us spend more time with them. We take them to school and we don’t need nannies raising our kids because we have the time because we are entrepreneurs. We are business people that own our business. That way when you own something, you are able to create more time to spend with your family and that’s what the amazing thing has been for me.
