Cardi B shocked a wedding party by appearing at the moment of truth to officiate a couple’s same-sex marriage.
The “Bodak Yello” femcee elicited cheers from the small crowd when she whipped around the corner and said with her signature accent, “Hi, guys,” causing the wedding bride to break out in screams.
It was surreal to hear the prolific Grammy-winning musician say: “By the power invested in me by the state of California and my online course, I now pronounce you wife and wife,” Cardi said on her Facebook Messenger series, “Cardi Tries.”
During the latest episode of the show, which coincided with National Coming Out Day on Oct. 11, “The Cosby Show” alum Raven-Symoné, 35, waxed nostalgic on how the event “reminded me of my wedding day when I really wanted to see my wife in a beautiful wedding dress.”

Cardi also talked to the “That’s So Raven” star about her own wedding to Offset in 2017. She said that after officiating this wedding, she now wishes she could have a “wedding-wedding now.”
“I got married in my bedroom … I do wish I had a bigger wedding because I’m very flamboyant, so I do want the whole dress and the whole cake and everything,” Cardi, 28, said. “I didn’t even have a ring, so I just didn’t feel like I was married because I didn’t have the whole shabangabang.”
After the episode, which can be watched on Facebook, Cardi took to Twitter to share with her fans that she is indeed licensed to marry couples.
By the way WORLD I’m licensed to marry people ….sooo yea… I do it all and this was such a fulfilling thing to do and Raven was soo fun I was sooo starstruck. https://t.co/i74YNT7Xbb
