How do you actively seek inspiration? Does it find you? Or is it a combination of the two?
Inspiration, for me, is definitely a combination of both. There are times I watch TV or go places where I am seeking to be inspired. And sometimes, what I prefer, it just finds me.
How did your collaboration with Kierra Sheard-Kelly come about? How was it working with her?
My collaboration with Kierra came about because, well Kierra is my sister! But she is also one of the most gracious celebrities I’ve come across. I heard her on the song when I wrote it, so after I recorded the choir and myself, we mixed it to send to her. She agreed, and the rest is what you hear on track number nine, a hit.
What can people expect from your latest project? What is the release date?
From my latest project, people can expect to get a taste of gospel, a taste of R&B and a taste of trap. I’m just enjoying being creative in hopes my audience enjoys it as well. It’s set to release on February 22, 2022.
